In 1975, at the behest of two friends, Ray & Maryann, Steve Cie started one of the very first Mobile DJ Companies, The Steve Cie Show! His first public performance was at the Keyport VFW Post on Third & Waverly Street, on December 31, 1975.
The Steve Cie Show went on to perform hundreds of private events, weddings, banquets and fund raisers, along with a four year stint as the morning radio broadcast of WVRM FM 89.3 in Hazlet New Jersey.
A pioneer in the Mobile DJ Industry, Steve Cie was one of the very first mobile DJ entertainers to incorporate a mobile color light show in his act, bringing all the atmosphere of a top rank dance club to venues throughout the Mid- Atlantic Region.
Today, more than 30 years after that first New Year’s Eve Show in Keyport, NJ, The Steve Cie Show continues to be one of the top DJ Entertainment companies. The sound equipment and lighting technology has improved through the uyears, but his infamous tag line remains—“Having an Affair?….Make Sure it’s with Steve Cie!”
